Proenza Schouler may be a goop-shop newcomer, but New York designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are hardly new to the game. And if you haven’t heard the story, it goes something like this: two friends met at Parsons Design School and collaborated on a final thesis—a collection that would soon become Proenza Schoulder’s first. Named after their mothers, Proenza Schouler’s cult-classic accessories may have first gotten them on the map, but it’s the approachable ready-to-wear, done in muted palettes with pops of graphic prints inspired by contemporary art, that keep the PS fans coming back for more.
