Handcrafted in Kumano, Japan, by the oldest brush maker in the world using traditional techniques, this silky-soft, cruelty-free brush makes eye shadow look and feel effortless. Tapered, flat bristles help smooth cream or powder shadow onto lids and also add subtle, smudgy definition to the lash line (they also feel amazing brushing over your skin). Makeup artist Gucci Westman suggests using short strokes to diffuse eye shadow, soften edges, and give richer shades an easy, lived-in look. The lacquered handle is made of hardwood birch from a Forest Stewardship Council–certified forest in Eastern Europe.
