Horseclip Hoops and Sweetheart Charms

Designer Cece Fein Hughes came to jewelry after earning an art history degree and interning at both Christie’s and Sotheby’s. So it’s no surprise that her namesake line leans heavily on artful symbolism. The intricately rendered pieces are exquisite and incredibly detailed. Here, a glittering bezel-set diamond heart dangles from a horseclip-shaped hoop. Both elements are done in 18-karat yellow gold with a cool frosted finish. And zoom in close: See those starbursts etched into the hoops, dotted with diamonds? They’re echoed in a starburst etched into the back of the heart.
