The Senegal Sandal

Handmade in Kenya, these sandals have a slim sole and the mere suggestion of a heel. Strapwise, it’s a minimalist take on the gladiator: Two narrow strips of leather crisscross around the ankle and fasten at the side with a small gold buckle. At the toes, another thin strap, this one adorned with a sculptural gold bauble flanking the big toe.
