Finished by hand in Portugal, this ultrathin stoneware dinner plate has a distinctive silhouette with a raised edge. Inspired by artisanal Provençal ceramics, it’s dipped in a thin black engobe, then fired again with a glossy white glaze, which allows the black engobe to show through. The complex process lends a gorgeous depth of color and gives the finish a rich, hazy undertone. On the bottom, a CB2 and goop backstamp is printed in black. The design is easy to mix and match with pieces you already own, or you can make it a full set with the matching salad plates, mugs, and serving pieces.
