Design-wise, this shirtdress borrows elements from classic men’s tailoring (point collar, button-cuff sleeves, back yoke, center front placket). But it’s cut from a smooth, drapey satin-back crepe and finished with high slits in the skirt—the overall effect feels soft and feminine. It’s Ulla Johnson, so the details are worth zooming in on: There’s the etched-flower print, the picot trim along the seams, and a necktie and self-belt (both removable).
