After-Cooking Hand Scrub

Made by cooks in Los Angeles and named a Bon Appétit Gear of the Year winner, this hand scrub is designed to get rid of stubborn food odors without leaving hands feeling dry. The formula uses a two-stage odor-control system that combines bread yeast enzymes (which help break down lingering smells like garlic and seafood) with jojoba wax beads (to gently exfoliate and lift odors from skin). It’s also made with algae extract, calendula, glycerin, and vitamins B and E to help nourish and moisturize skin, leaving hands soft and clean. It smells wonderful, too: Santal & Shiso is a crisp, woody blend of shiso, cardamom, and sandalwood essential oils.
