Bio
Natasha Silva-Jelly is the author of The New Front Row on Substack—reporting from the front row of real life and midlife—covering style, storytelling, cultural commentary, and the conversations we need to be having. A career journalist and editor specializing in style, beauty, lifestyle, and culture, she started her career at Vogue—think of her as the real-life Andy from The Devil Wears Prada—and is the former Fashion Features Director at Harper's Bazaar. She also has bylines in Elle, Grazia, Forbes, CNN, the Guardian, and the Telegraph.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, she dragged her then-husband and two sons to New York City 12 years ago and now lives in a brownstone in Gramercy. She also curates her style and beauty edits on ShopMy.
Diagnosed with menopause-induced osteoporosis at 51, she is now religious about her daily protein and strength training.
