Named for Ernest Hemingway’s 1952 novella The Old Man and the Sea—a story about a Cuban fisherman—this is a chic take on the traditional fisherman sandal. They have a caged, closed-toe upper, a buckled ankle strap, and a subtle half-inch heel. And they’re made from smooth, vegetable-tanned vachetta leather in a rich espresso hue.
