The most critical item in just about anyone’s makeup bag is concealer—and the clean-beauty concealers are pretty fantastic at this point. (Most people don’t actually need foundation at all; judiciously applied clean concealer, counterintuitively, allows you to wear much less makeup.)
The problem with concealer, practically any good makeup artist will tell you, is that most people rub it in. When you rub, you move the concealer away from what you’re trying to conceal and onto a different part of your face.
