Stephanie and Kyle Taylor got the idea for Blacksaw on a surf trip to Peru in 2016—the pair was so inspired by the beauty of Andean alpacas that they wanted to share it with the world. Upcycled from factory scraps of humanely sheared alpaca fur headed for landfills, Blacksaw’s sumptuous blankets and throws—big, cozy, cocoon-yourself-in-them pieces so beautiful, you could also hang them as art—are proof that sustainability and luxury can absolutely coexist.
