On a warm Sunday afternoon during New York Fashion Week, we gathered at Quarters to celebrate GWYN’s fall 2026 collection. The downtown setting felt like a fitting backdrop for a line inspired by the end-of-summer transition and coming back to the city for work and play.
Between enjoying the grazing board (the 20-pound block of butter engraved with the GWYN logo was a huge hit) and trading goop Beauty recommendations—Architectural Digest global editorial director Amy Astley told us that Colorblur Balm in Velveteen is her desert-island product—we tapped the stylists, founders, and influencers in attendance to share their favorite pieces from the September drop, along with their tips for styling them into fall.

Of course, we started with Gwyneth herself, who shared that she went with one of her classic formulas: a white top and black jeans. “Her look today is all city—the mid-waist black jeans are super flattering and sexy with a front and back crease,” said GWYN’s design director, Sofía Menassé. They're paired with the crisp, versatile feminine-meets-masculine white top (it can be worn with or without the tie)—“the same one she wore in our GWYN shoot in the country,” Menassé says.

“I love a pencil skirt and this pinstripe is so wearable. I paired it with the Spencer sweater in navy worn as a top. I tied in the brown from the zippers with the bag and leopard shoe—always a neutral for me.”

Olivia Duncan, artist, creative consultant, Substacker
“This fall I plan to wear the jacket open with a white T-shirt under it—but today I wanted to go monochrome and style it like a full jumpsuit with the balloon pants. When I go monochrome I like to go fun with the accessories so it doesn't lean too janitor.”
Neada Deters, founder of LESSE
“I love these GWYN Ty trousers that were brought back in black for September. I style them so many different ways—I’ll throw them on with a little tee, a big slouchy sweater, or a long trench coat like I did today. They're amazing for everyday and for travel and look so good with loafers, a sneaker, or a heel. They're one of my favorite items in my closet.”

“It’s this transitional moment right now with the in-between weather, so I like to pick one fall piece—for me that’s this black GWYN blazer—and then layer in the summery moments. And, especially since I’m showing midriff, I covered the feet with a black ballet flat instead of a sandal.”
