What goop Editors Really Want for the Holidays

Written by:the Editors of goopPublished on:

Every year, we scour the far corners of the earth to bring you our annual holiday gift guides. Part of that process involves researching and testing the assortment to ensure we're recommending the best of the best (after all, how can we know for sure the infrared sauna is easy to set up unless we try it ourselves in the office?).

That also means we've had months and months to scheme what we’d like to add to our own wish lists. Sure, we have our pie-in-the-sky fantasies—say, an escape to a nine-bedroom villa in Antibes—but these are the everyday luxuries we're (more realistically) hoping to unwrap this year.

My wish list this year centers around transportive, sensory rituals that promote well-being and reduce stress.

InfraPod Portable Infrared Sauna

We recently set up this pop-up sauna in the goop office, and it is my favorite place to unplug at the end of a long day. It's made with low-EMF infrared panels and red-light therapy, two technologies I have been low-key obsessed with for some time now. I use the time to meditate, and after just 10 minutes, all tension has left my body, and my skin looks like I just had a facial. Aside from running, it's the fastest—and most surefire—way I've found to give myself an instant glow. Not for nothing: An infrared and red light sauna for under $1,000 is a steal.

Faux Flora Discovery Set

I met the founders of this cult Icelandic perfume brand earlier this year when they launched their first collection stateside exclusively with goop. They took me on a "scent journey," waving each scent under my nose as I sat with my eyes closed and Lilja, one of the founders, read aloud a bespoke poem to accompany each scent. Since that day, I have rotated between several of those scents every day, so I couldn't wait to try their new holiday discovery set. Most of the fragrances—which are made with the highest quality essential oils—are unisex, so don't be surprised if your partner tries to steal one.

This year, I want two of life's greatest luxuries: sleep and cashmere.

Ozlo Sleepbuds

I fall asleep listening to podcasts, so most mornings I end up tearing apart my bed to find a missing AirPod—and trying to figure out where in the episode I dozed off. Which is why I need these Bluetooth sleep buds with noise-masking technology and biometric sensing. They fit snugly in your ear and, when they detect you've fallen asleep, seamlessly transition to white noise or your chosen sound until the alarm wakes you up in the morning.

GWYN The Boyfriend V-Neck Sweater

I’ve been dreaming of this perfectly slouchy-yet-sexy deep V-neck sweater for months after seeing my goop coworkers style it in endless ways. The lightweight cashmere feels incredible in person, and it’s a classic I know will be in heavy rotation all winter long.

Over-the-top gifts are fun to dream about, but this year I'm more interested in the things I'll actually use—regularly. More subtle life upgrades than splurge-y statement pieces.

Acupressure Neck Wedge

I spend a lot of my day craned over my laptop in various postures that would horrify an orthopedist. So this neck wedge feels like a gimme—a lo-fi tool that can bring some real relief with just 10 minutes a day.

goop-Exclusive Manicure

I’m not really a manicure girl. But I like my nails to look clean and healthy, with maybe a touch of shine. This kit has everything I need for that kind of no-makeup manicure—and I love that the sheer tints also nourish and strengthen my nails.

Category is: things worth making closet and counter space for.

Charlie Bomber

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect leather bomber jacket for about four years (not kidding, unfortunately), but could never find something worth putting down for...until now. I love the rounded, oversized silhouette of this one. The notched lapels and epaulettes. The smiley pockets. But most of all, I love the distinctive cedar-brown color—so chic.

The Toaster Pro

One of my favorite biweekly rituals is picking up a loaf of sourdough from my local Tartine. I slice and freeze it on the first day, then use the microwave to revive each piece as needed. This toaster, which uses steam technology to create perfect crusts while locking in moisture, would be the ultimate upgrade.

Jewelry and knits—actually, anything that falls in the fashion department will always top my wish list.

Sophie Bille Brahe Earrings

Statement earrings are my festive anchor. These freshwater pearl Sophie Bille Brahe earrings are elevated and timeless—perfect for the holidays and beyond.

Gwyn Drew Cardigan

The Drew cardigan is one of those pieces you see in person and instantly know you need. Its texture, structure, and color immediately stood out, and after seeing our design director Sofia wear it around the office, I was sold.

This year, my wish list celebrates simple indulgences: staying cozy and enjoying a sweet treat.

BonBon Swedish Candy Gift Box

Yes, I was that person who fell for the Swedish candy craze in 2024, and for good reason. Though I only moved to LA a month ago, I already miss popping into the Upper East Side BonBon store. Filled with a limited-edition mix of Swedish fish and tangy pineapple-apricot gummies, this pretty pink-and-blue tin captures the magic perfectly.

Baina Bath Robe

I love wearing robes after every shower. I throw one on while getting ready for a night out or for a cozy movie night-in with my roommate. This Baina one is at the top of my holiday list: it's soft, absorbent, quick-drying, and the sage-green stripes are just too good.
