Bio

As goop's copy editor, Margaret Willes spends her time agonizing over commas, looking for dangling modifiers, and delving into the nuances of the English language. She previously channeled her love for minute details into her piano studies, while working toward a bachelor’s degree in music performance. She also double-minored in editing and art history. Prior to joining goop in 2022, she worked as a copy editor at ELLE for four years. Born in a suburb of Tokyo, she currently lives in the greater Los Angeles area with her husband, who happens to be over a foot taller than her.
