Bio
Cassie Shortsleeve is a skilled journalist with more than a decade's worth of experience reporting for the country's top health, travel, and parenting magazines, including Women's Health, Parents, Conde Nast Traveler,The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Forbes, and others. She’s held staff editing positions at both Men’s Health and Shape.
Trained as a health reporter, Cassie is also an integrative health coach with training through Duke Integrative Medicine and Postpartum Support International. She is a subject matter expert on maternal health, regularly interviewing top doctors and voices in the space and penning pieces on the ins and outs of motherhood for national publications.
She's a co-founder and board member of the non-profit Chamber of Mothers, which advocates for mothers’ rights in the United States, and the founder of Dear Sunday, an online platform for writing, support, and education around pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.
She has a bachelor of arts from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where she majored in English and Fiction Writing, and lives in the Boston area with her husband and three daughters.
