Bio
Being the food director at goop means wearing many hats. On any given day, you might find Caitlin O’Malley developing recipes in the test kitchen, interviewing cookbook authors and experts, tracking down ingredients for tasting guides, or researching food science for deep-dive features. O’Malley started at goop in 2017 as a kitchen assistant and has been rising through the ranks ever since. Prior to working at goop, she did freelance catering and for many years was a buyer for a gourmet market. She lives in LA with her husband and cat and is always happiest in a grocery store.
