Highly recommended by folks who work in this area, this is a no-frills old-school café (pronounced caf) that serves up traditional English breakfast, sandwiches, and your standard cup of coffee.

Stop here for the delicious fairtrade coffee (brewed by owner and goop friend James Pears) and stay to chat with him and other locals. James has done the whole place up himself and it is constantly making little upgrades. He collects and sells prints here as well, and his brother owns the card shop up the road. It's a fun spot for drinks at night, too.
