Libran energy represents themes of relationship and reciprocity. But this year’s Libra season brims with an unusual potency: The Lunar South Node began transiting the air sign in July 2023, which means it’s where we’ve been collectively releasing ever since. We’ve had opportunities to let go of grief, unhealthy relationships, toxic environments, and even—for some—people-pleasing patterns. From there, we’ve been slowly and steadily moving towards the Aries North Node, which carries themes of independence, drive, and personal empowerment.

With four months left of this cosmic cycle, the tone is set for fall: It’s time to embrace a chapter returning home to ourselves.

Your Astrological Outlook

ARIES

There’s a theme of healing emerging for you this fall. Pluto, the planet of transformation, has been in your sector of career and long-term goals since 2008—where to put it lightly, it’s been wreaking havoc. Don’t get me wrong: You’re all the wiser for every challenge you’ve faced, and that’s a beautiful thing. But from November 19, as Pluto switches signs, you’ll feel a new sense of ease. Those ever-recurring obstacles, which felt as present as gravity, will seemingly vanish.

Before this, the full moon in your sign on October 17 invites you to reconnect with yourself. When Mars, your planetary ruler, goes retrograde on December 6, you’re encouraged to slow down and delegate as we wind down the year. Enjoy.

TAURUS

Taurus, your fall is set to be pretty chill—and given the year so far, you’re here for it. If there’s a sign that understands the wisdom of slow and steady, it’s yours. This chapter will be one of loose planning and getting some much-needed rest.

Uranus is still retrograde through your sign, revolutionizing your sense of personal identity. But even if all (or any) of the pieces haven’t yet landed in place, it certainly doesn’t mean you can’t feel connected to what you value or who you are. This will be worth remembering around the Taurus full moon on November 15. The world might feel nuts (particularly around November 19 as Pluto shifts signs), but again, draw your boundaries. And you do you.

GEMINI

Jupiter’s been in your sign since May, and you’ve been feeling more cosmically blessed as a result. As it goes retrograde this fall (October 9–Feb 4), you’ll shift into reflecting on what, where, and who cause you to feel blessed. Jupiter rules philosophy, and as it activates your sector of identity, it may be time for those big questions: Who are you? How do you wish to live—and are you existing in alignment with that?

Your ruling planet, Mercury, joins the retrograde party on November 25, further fueling the prompt towards self-inquiry. But there’s something epic and reassuring about it going direct on December 15, alongside a full moon in your sign. Remember: Your answers will land in divine timing.

CANCER

With Mars (the planet of action) in your sign until November 3, fall will immediately feel optimistic for you, Cancer. Pluto’s been in your opposite sign for a grueling transit since 2008—you can almost consider November 19 to be your second birthday as Pluto finally moves into Aquarius. (And it’s not returning to Capricorn for 250 years). This will dissolve major tensions you’ve felt within your relationship to yourself and the world around you.

Notice the ways your life is improving, and contentment will flow. As both Saturn and Neptune go direct (November 15 and December 7 respectively), you’ll feel drawn to travel. Saturn will free up resources, while Neptune materializes the creative details around the desire. The world is your oyster.

LEO

Leo, fall offers a chapter of returning to what matters most to you. It’s time to reassess your “why” and adjust life accordingly.

When Mars enters your sign on November 3, consider it a green light on new opportunities and passion projects. However, when it goes retrograde on December 6, you must either consciously choose to slow life down or risk being halted by the universe. (The former will definitely be more comfortable.) Honor your personal flow this fall—it offers a unique way forward.

VIRGO

As we start fall fresh out of your solar season, you’ll symbolically enter a new chapter and blank slate in more ways than one. Yes, your planetary ruler, Mercury, has scheduled another retrograde for itself (on November 25)—but as you’ve probably come to realize by now, these transits simply present a chance to step back, assess, and refine the details that make up your life. And refinement is kind of your thing.

This retrograde activates your sector of career, finance and long-term goals, making fall the perfect time to catch up on (or get ahead of) any life admin. Trust that as you clear your obligations, you’ll create spaces that the cosmos will always fill with more of what you love. And so it is.

LIBRA

This fall the cosmic spotlight rests on you, Libra. On October 2, you’ll experience a final Libra Solar Eclipse (the next is in nine years), which symbolizes a checkpoint in a major personal cycle which began back in April 2023. It’ll be worth journaling on the themes or events which arose around that time and reflecting on how they’re tracking now. As you consciously work with these astro cycles, you’ll flow with—rather than against—the universe. Trust your innate intuition, as well the cosmos’ ability to speak to (and through) you.
Solar eclipses tend to evoke the unexpected, often nudging us towards the unknown or new timelines. For you, fall will be about remaining open, present, and self-loving through the process.

SCORPIO

My dear Scorpio, you’re in for a busy fall. Venus immediately enters your sign September 22, evoking either the desire for new connections or a deepening of existing ones. Your sign rules intimacy, and though vulnerability may not be part of your natural disposition, it is where the juiciest experiences will arise. Your planetary ruler (Pluto) wraps up its retrograde on October 11 (clarity ensues), before shifting signs on November 19…which is big. It’s been in Capricorn since 2008, catalyzing intense growth around your career, finances, and sense of self. This will all now shift into place: Throw in more transformation with Scorpio season (October 22), and by November 1 with the New Moon in your sign, you’ll feel like a whole new you.

SAGITTARIUS

Fall will ignite your life in all the best ways, Sagittarius. Your ruling planet, Jupiter, stations retrograde on October 9, initiating a profound chapter of self-inquiry until February. Trust what falls away during this period is for the best, as the universe is now actively steering you back towards your true nature.

You’ll feel cosmically supported as Venus enters your sign on October 17, with the sun joining on November 21. Beauty is heightened here, as well as remembrance of your gifts. With Mercury stationing retrograde in your sign from November 25 through December 15, you’ll be reminded of the power of words. It’s perfect timing, as the Sagittarius new moon on December 1 offers a portal for planting seeds and speaking (or writing) your visions into reality.

CAPRICORN

Get ready for revolution, dear Capricorn. With Pluto, the planet of transformation, on its home stretch through your sign for the last time in 250 years, your life is set to change. Pluto has been there as of 2008, launched alongside the global financial crisis and a series of events which have shaken the globe since. This has carried extra meaning for you, as this planet—whose energy can only be described as a permanent dark-night-of-the-soul—activated your sector of identity.

This fall you’ll experience an incredibly positive and snowballing sense of momentum, as Venus enters your sign on November 11, your ruler Saturn goes direct on November 15, Pluto leaves Capricorn for good on November 19, and two days later we enter your birthday season. You’re officially on a roll.

AQUARIUS

Radical transformation is on its way. Your planetary ruler is still retrograde until January, evoking surprising (but ultimately helpful) twists and turns. You’re also the star of one of the biggest astro events of the decade, as Pluto officially enters your sign on Nov 19, initiating a 19-year transit. You’ll feel this as a wave of fresh yet unfamiliar energy accompanied by epiphanies around your concept of self and the desire to innovate as you begin noticing the gaps you’d like to fill with your genius. Perhaps your purpose in the world will feel clearer, as well as the type of impact you’d like to have—where that impact may be and on whom. Reminder: You’re a powerful soul.

PISCES

Your fall will feel clarifying and nurturing dear Pisces. Saturn, the planet of challenge, went retrograde in your sign in June and has since added an extra layer of obstacles for you to alchemize and transcend. Fortunately, as a mutable sign, this is your natural gift.

As Saturn goes direct on November 15 alongside a Taurus full moon, you’ll feel a renewed lightness. It’s a reminder that life is good and always has been. Furthering your catharsis vibes, Neptune (your planetary ruler) also stations direct on December 7 after five months of nudging you towards existential realizations. Pay attention to intuitive messages that come through here. You’re supported and loved by the universe.
