An At-Home Sound Bath for

Last year, at our In goop Health summit in Los Angeles, we had the pleasure of kicking off the weekend with an opening sound bath ceremony led by Ambi Kavanagh, a sound healer, life coach, astrologer, and Reiki master. Kavanagh, who founded the astrology coaching program Soulstrology, looks at current celestial events and works with planetary gongs to energetically guide her sound baths. Each planet, as she explains, has its own orbital frequency, which she interprets and brings to life through her practice.

Kavanagh created this Reiki-infused virtual sound bath and meditation for us. She also shared some poignant advice on how we can use the planets to adopt new paradigms, destroy old ones, and to flow with whatever forces come our way. Before you grab your headphones and hit play, Kavanagh simply asks you to think about what you want to release, what you want to receive, and how you want to reset yourself. If any of the sounds or vibrations make you feel uncomfortable, feel tight in an area, or bring up a bad memory, that’s actually a good thing, says Kavanagh: “It means that’s something that’s stuck energetically has been activated through the sounds and vibrations, and it’s now going to move out of your physical body and your energy body.”
