This dress is cut from an Italian suiting blend of cotton and linen with a touch of silk—it’s slightly structured and has a beautiful drape to it. And the design makes the most of it: It has gentle pleats below the crewneck, a paperbag waist with a detachable tie belt, and a full, swingy skirt with a handkerchief hem. The coolest detail, though, is in the back, where the cropped bodice floats just above the cinched waist, giving the illusion of a two-piece set.
