Sunday Slow Food Market

Here’s another reason to celebrate that it’s finally a nice time of year to take a walk in London: Rosewood London has launched an outdoor Slow Food Market which spreads out on the hotel’s grand, Edwardian inner courtyard every Sunday, rain or shine. While we know and love the city for its wealth of food markets, none match the Rosewood’s central Holborn location, idyllic setting, or Slow Food—that’s good, clean, and fair—seal of approval. There are 30 handpicked vendors, offering everything from the best smoked salmon in London courtesy of Norwegian outfit Hansen & Lydersen, to the family-owned Wild Country Organics spread of seasonal veggies, to Kentish fruit and organic apple juice from Chegworth Valley, to Moonroast’s Hampshire-roasted coffee, to the perfect sourdough loaf from Nyborg’s Kitchen.

And if that’s not enough outdoor food marketing, there’s always the touristy behemoth that is Borough Market, smaller, hipster foodie destinations like Maltby Street’s Saturday market, and the reputable network of weekend farmer’s markets across town to round out the mix.
