The Line Made for French Girls, by French Girls—and 3 More Labels We Love
Our buyers are always on the lookout for cool brands making great things, be that an under-the-radar rookie or a more established label that has withstood the test of time and trend. Only a handful make the cut every season; these are the latest.
Soeur
Your favorite French girl’s favorite French brand has been churning out chic staples since 2008. So Soeur isn’t new to the world, but it is new to our style shop—and we couldn’t be more excited about adding it to our assortment.
The coolly androgynous line encompasses everything from boxy shirting and beautifully tailored trousers to calf-grazing skirts and big, cozy sweaters detailed with pretty knitwork. Nothing skews too young or too mature, and that’s deliberate. “Regardless of age or style, I want everyone who dresses with us to feel understood and valued,” says the brand’s artistic director, Domitille Brion. That intention is palpable in every piece, and it’s what will keep you coming back for more.
Róhe
Marieke Meulendijks and Maickel Weyers, who are partners in both life and business, founded Róhe in Amsterdam in 2021. Their goal: to create timeless wardrobe essentials you can rewear season after season. While tailoring is their bread and butter—every blazer, coat, and trouser is painstakingly draped and pinned to ensure the fit is just right—they also dabble in the occasional statement piece, like the paillette-embellished pencil skirt below.
Erede
Erede’s story begins with two best friends and their shared love of pretty, shiny things. Longtime jewelry collectors, Jeramie Hotz and Talia Shuvalov-Levy noticed a gap in the market for modern heirlooms made with lab-grown diamonds. So they decided to create their own. Inspired by Art Deco and modernist architecture, their pieces—all handmade in New York—are some of the coolest that have come across our desks. We’re particularly fond of the signet ring, which features an oval 1.2-carat VVS diamond in an eye-catching corrugated gold setting.
Erede Sapphire Ring, goop, $4,100; Erede Signet Ring, goop, $6,500
Leset
Ask the most stylish woman you know about her go-to white T-shirt and there’s a good chance she’ll tell you it’s from Leset. But the cult-favorite Margo Tee isn’t the only thing worth buying from the LA-based brand. We also love its minimal mix-and-match separates, which come in a variety of seasonal fabrics—from brushed sweater jersey and extra-fine merino wool to featherweight ramie and gauzy linen—that meet you in the moment.
