What to Pack
for a
Weekend
in Sag Harbor
In partnership with our friends at Marc Fisher LTD
It’s the low-key cousin to the well-groomed Hamptons. It’s where you have late-morning brunches at Baron’s Cove and afternoon strolls along Main Street. It’s where you go to the Dock House (and have the best dockside lobster roll this side of Menemsha), then drop by the goop MRKT summer pop-up. We’re talking about the tiny historic whaling village of Sag Harbor. Two-plus hours from Manhattan, Sag Harbor has that authentic, small-town-beauty thing in spades. This place is as charming as it gets. Best to dress for it.
AFTERNOON STROLL
For a day spent wandering the wharf, popping into the boutiques off Main (Ruby Beets, Monc XIII), or dropping by for a tasting at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, go for something floaty that straddles the line between elegant and effortless. Slides—and anything raffia—underscore the summer chic vibe.

À LA PLAGE
On the list of things you’ll need for a distinctly East Coast beach day hunting for sea glass along Noyack Bay, an unfussy, bandeau-style bikini is way up there. Top it off with tortoiseshell sunnies and a breezy button-down that’s classic and carefree…just like its wearer.

ON THE TOWN
A sunset drink at the Beacon, a bite at Le Bilboquet, a nightcap at Back Page—they’re all fair game when you’ve got a print-happy set to run around town in. Stack the deck with a pair of suede espadrilles—and some equally playful extras.
