And while the famed Italian fashion house has since expanded into many other categories, it’s their impeccably cut jackets and trousers that keep us coming back. We visited the newly unveiled Giorgio Armani boutique on Madison Avenue (the 12-story building has multiple floors dedicated to fashion, of course, plus a restaurant and 10 private residences—one bought by Mr. Armani himself) to try on the latest womenswear for size.
