A Spring Evening to
Remember in New York City

It may have been chance. It may have been something larger at play. But whatever it was, the gods smiled down on a recent spring evening on Fifth Avenue. It was the kind of perfectly crisp New York night that signals winter is over and warmth is on the way. In other words, it was the perfect backdrop for Bulgari to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its iconic B.Zero1 collection. An eclectic, creative crowd made for a night full of mirth, merriment, and some really amazing Thai food. Here, our top takeaways.

So is anything that will
make skin plump and dewy.

The designer Rosie Assoulin, whose style we’ve admired for years, recently launched a new collection called By Any Other Name. It’s her second line, and incidentally, she’s also a mom—which makes it all the more impressive that she always looks so relaxed and glowing and as if she just had a facial. We asked Jean Godfrey-June for the products that will do the same for our skin.

Color matters.

The collective unconscious has spoken, and it’s tired of dark, safe cocktail dresses. What’s the opposite of the little black dress? One in ballet pink or a fiery shade of red that can go from day to evening. Such as:

Cooking Thai food is a
worthwhile skill to master.

Dinner was prepared by the amazing Michelin-starred chef Dalad Kambhu. Not only was the meal delicious, but the chef herself was incredibly gracious and stylish and reminded everyone of the transformative joy of fresh Thai flavors. We’re still waiting for her cookbook, but in the meantime we’ll be mastering the recipes from:

Think of an excuse to incorporate a floral headpiece.

Master florist Joshua Werber’s work can be described in one word: stunning. He specializes in floral headpieces, and he also happens to be an incredibly charming person. A custom floral headpiece is not exactly practical, but if you can find an event that merits one of his works of art, you won’t be sorry.
