Our Fashion Team’s Midsummer Must-Haves

Our style shop is flush with great finds right now, from sets to swimwear to the woven basket bag that’s been living rent-free in our heads since we first spotted it on Pinterest. And with summer travel in full swing, it’s needless to say we are in shopping mode—here are the top contenders from four of us.

My usual preference is a strictly black-and-white palette, but lately I’ve been loving these fresh touches of icy grey. Also, I’ve decided to fully embrace silver jewelry only (this sleek cuff is effortlessly cool). I’ll be in Sicily this summer, and I can’t wait to zip around on my Vespa in these ultrachic no-waistband pants, a bikini top, and a silky button-down blowing in the wind!

I’m loving modern takes on all-American classics: navy linen shorts instead of denim ones, a red triangle bikini instead of basic black, this striped cardigan that skews more graphic than preppy. It has been super hot on the East Coast, so my uniform has been simple: short shorts with tops that can be layered—plus a couple of shiny new pieces to round out my everyday neck stack.

I’m meeting my Florence-based friend for our biannual girls’ trip in Milos, Greece, this summer—which, if all goes according to plan, will involve lots of swimming in turquoise waters, wine-fueled dinners where we laugh until we cry, and a kayaking tour of the volcanic sea caves along the coast. Coming with me: a new swimsuit, breezy separates, and a (very cute) cotton sweater I can throw on after sunset.

I’m aiming for great basics mixed in with some trendier pieces this season (and yes, I’ve jumped on the jelly sandal train). I’m a big fan of stripes for the summer, as well as a sleek minimalist suit—I especially love the little pearl detail on this Sara Cristina one-piece. I’m really into these earrings, which are actually a two-in-one since the bottom hoops are removable. And I love these linen pants—the straight leg and deep-navy color make them super chic and easy.
