Anyone who knows me even a little bit knows that I practically grew up on skis. So when we decided to unveil goop’s latest collaboration with fashion-y skiwear line Perfect Moment at the sparkling new goop MRKT pop-up in a little place called Aspen, I grabbed my poles, buckled up my boots, and caught the next flight out of LAX. What better way to welcome the ski season than by playing in the powder with a few goop friends? The mountains are calling.

REMÈDE SPA
There’s après, and then there’s ahhh-près. The latter takes place at the Remède Spa in the St. Regis, where facials focus on deeply hydrating, shield-you-from-the-elements products like those from goop-favorite Dr. Barbara Sturm; hot plunge pools are at your disposal for post-shred dips; and an oxygen bar (game changer) helps you acclimate to that high, high altitude. Not to be missed: the Rocky Mountain ritual, a treatment that incorporates everything from CBD-and-arnica-laced massages to vibrational therapy for soothing shot muscles after a long day on the hill.
PACKING LIST
The trick to schlepping all that bulky ski gear? Pack minimally in all other areas. You’ll need multitasking classics: cozy sweaters and comfortable leggings (I love how you can tug on these ankle-zip Totême ones over boots) that go from couch to candlelit dinners with a little help from some snow-friendly soles.

The thing about Aspen is that there’s truly no other ski town like it. Where else can you zip down double diamonds by midmorning, pop into a Prada store post-lunch, take one more late-afternoon run, and eat as you would in the big city at sundown?
