Assembling fresh-feeling holiday looks from pieces that can be worn on repeat is a worthy endeavor you’ll thank yourself for later. Below, four staffers share what they’re wearing to festive functions, low-key hangs, and everything in between (plus, our inspiration: one of GP’s chicest ’90s pairings, then and now).

This year, GP revived a particularly approachable red-carpet look (from the 1998 Shakespeare in Love premiere) with obsidian sequins, a midnight-black knit, and contemporary accents (stacked gold and chunky links). The effect? Timeless—yet totally modern at the same time.
