Six years ago, Lucy Muellner and Erin Johnson moved into Angel’s Country Store (a general store since the 1890’s) and turned it into Fork & Anchor. In their rebrand, they’ve managed to hold onto the quaint feel of the place while infusing it with food offerings that are specific to the Hamptons. The store stocks local culinary wares and features a sandwich menu with all the essentials, from an Italian sub, to a PB&J (the breakfast burritos and bagels are pretty great too). Fork & Anchor also partners with Deep Roots Farm for a summer CSA, where customers can sign up for chicken, egg, and cheese shares in addition to the traditional vegetable box.
