Some outfits require a proper brassiere—underwire, padding, the whole nine yards. Others, blessedly, do not. Odelyn’s for the days you just need a little somethin’ somethin’. The gauzy cotton-tulle barely registers. The fastening doesn’t dig in (because there isn’t one). And the elasticated underband? It provides just the right amount of support.
Susan Beischel founded Skin in 2003 with the goal of creating buttery-soft, sophisticated basics that are blissfully simple and sustainably produced. The effortless, second-skin designs are meant to complement the female body rather than distract from it—think sleek pima cotton slips, loose-fitting washable silk pajamas, and stretchy, gently hugging activewear all done in neutral hues. And the brand works with family-owned, ethically responsible factories in Peru to create the vast majority (over 90 percent) of their pieces.
