Geo-fleur specializes in houseplants—and while this is a great place to come for plants themselves (they've got a gorgeous selection of bonsais, cacti, and succulents), we also love coming here for accessories like copper-bottomed planters and macrame hangers. Their plant subscription, which mails a new plant and its associated trappings every month, makes a great gift for gardeners—or, alternatively, friends with black thumbs.
Westfield, Stratford City
The whole accessible glasses concept is new to London and one of the local pioneers is none other than Amar Radia, one of the guys behind Dishoom, the uber-successful Indian chain. With those credentials, we're sure that like its sister brand, we'll see more Kites appear across the city. Its first shop is in Westfield in up-and-coming Stratford City, offering all the shapes and colors you'd want in steel and acetate. Much like Warby Parker in the U.S., the cool collaborations with young designers and artists abound as do the styles.
