Smooth on this cushiony, super nourishing gloss for gorgeous subtle color, mild exfoliation, and a sexy, gleamy shine. An apple-based exfoliant sloughs away dead skin (don’t worry if you feel a slight tingle—the sensation lasts only a few minutes), while hyaluronic acid, coconut milk, sunflower butter, and grape-seed oil plump and hydrate. It feels incredible going on, and every shade is beautifully skin-flattering: Fresh is a perfect glossy nude, Chill is a cool dusty rose, and Sweet is a sheer berry lilac.

Saie (pronounced “say”) evolved out of a conversation that started on founder Laney Crowell’s clean beauty blog back in 2016. A former fashion editor and beauty exec at Estée Lauder, Crowell got into clean beauty after considering the effects that certain products— including cleaning supplies and the items in her medicine cabinet and shower—might have on her health. Existing clean makeup options didn’t have the performance, price, or chic packaging Crowell’s followers were looking for. She started with clean, inky-black mascara—something her followers were desperate for—and has since created a clean makeup empire with everything from tinted moisturizer to bronzer.
