
Strawberry Gingersnap Smoothie
This smoothie is all about balance—sweet berries and banana, tart lemon juice, and spicy ginger to round it all out. If you can’t find cold-pressed apple juice, try using a cored apple. Just be sure to blend really well and enjoy the extra fiber.
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 (3- to 4-inch) piece of fresh ginger root grated
¼ cup raw almonds
juice of ½ lemon
1 cup cold-pressed apple juice
1 cup almond milk
1. Combine all ingredients in a powerful blender.
