We were pretty flattered when Osvaldo Vazquez made a cocktail exclusively for us—while we never would have thought to pair smoky mezcal with tonic water, it’s a pretty great combo.
2 ounces mezcal pierde almas gin
1 dash fresh grapefruit juice
1 bottle fever tree tonic
1 dash angostura bitters
1 twist lemon and lime
1. Combine mezcal, grapefruit juice, and tonic water in a collins glass with ice.
2. Stir for five seconds.
3. Garnish with bitters and lemon and lime twists.
