Gomasio Rice Cakes

These rice cakes—care of Kitchen Mouse LA—are insanely delicious.

9 cups whole rice

9 cups puréed rice

9 tablespoons sesame oil

1 cup + 2 tablespoons agave

1 cup + 2 tablespoons ponzu

1 cup + 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds

1 cup + 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds

3 tablespoons salt

9 green onions, chopped

Dollop of unrefined or virgin coconut oil

Oyster Mushrooms

Dash olive oil

Salt & pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients up until green onions together, and form into patties. Cook in unrefined or virgin coconut oil on medium-high heat until golden brown on each side. Meanwhile, take the oyster mushrooms, and starting on one end, peel them apart into strips. Pan sear them with olive oil, salt, and pepper on very high heat until crispy.
