Conveniently located next door to Intelligentsia and Silver Lake breakfast staple Café Stella, this Gallic-inspired cheese store is a real throwback. The shelves are stacked with multiple types of mustard, fleur de sel, fruity preserves, Marcona almonds, and other essential condiments—basically everything you need to pull together a dinner-party-worthy cheese board. Though the little tasting bowls of extra virgin olive oil and hunks of what is arguably the best sourdough in LA make the whole experience pretty unbeatable, the real draw, of course, is the cheese, which owner Chris Pollan sources from all over the country and the world. It’s borderline impossible to leave without a Humboldt fog in your purse and a baguette tucked under your arm.
