Originally issued in 1973, the now-classic sleeping bag coat has become a mainstay of the Norma Kamali brand—and a major point of inspiration for other outerwear designers. It’s designed using the NASA method (stitching together multiple layers with air pockets in between) for maximum warmth, with a full-length hem for coverage from the cold. We’re particularly into the dramatic lapels and the extra-long sleeves, which can either be rolled up or used as a muff.
