This flowy, easy-fit sundress has a smocked bodice and a swishy midlength skirt with gathered panels at the sides. It’s made from a blessedly breathable cotton-silk blend. Which bring us to that watercolor bird motif: It’s hand-printed by a family of Indian artisans using carved woodblocks—a technique they’ve preserved for seven generations.
