Kayu

Kayu

Jamie Kim named her line of bags “kayu,” which means wood in Malay, as a nod to her heritage and the types of handmade products she grew up with. Her bags are still woven by artisans in Southeast Asia through a system that empowers women by helping them earn a living wage while staying home with their children.
