Hamptons-Wide Health & Beauty
Health & Beauty neighborhood
It's a real comfort knowing that all you need to book the perfect blowout (or updo, makeup, lashes, braid...) in the Hamptons is a decent internet connection. The brilliance of this supremely user-friendly app is that it allows you to book multiple at-home services, for multiple people, in just a few swipes.
We're pretty sold on this concept: Namaste, a self-titled "wellness concierge," will send massage therapists, personal trainers, yoga teachers, and the like to your home or hotel room through one quick email or text—even for same day, last-minute appointments or corporate retreats. They’ve spent more than a decade looking for the best practitioners around, a rolodex rigor that means you won’t be disappointed. Prices are commensurate with what you’d pay in a nice spa ($150-$250/hr), but with the convenience of an at-home treatment. They currently serve New York, The Hamptons, Palm Beach, Aspen, Connecticut, Los Angeles, and San Francisco—plus all the corresponding ‘burbs. If this is the wellness model of the future, we couldn’t be bigger fans.
The Class by Taryn Toomey- Hamptons
East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Montauk
It's fair to say that there's really nothing like Taryn Toomey's class when it comes to cathartic release and getting a real sweat in. Everyday this summer, some of her best teachers (this year it's Jaycee Gossett, Courtney Deri, and Laura Camilleri) teach pop-ups in locations around the Hamptons. You can find them at Lululemon LOFT35, Soul Cycle (Below the Barn), and, our personal favorite, the Surf Lodge. Private lessons are also available.
