The Hamptons Health & Beauty
Health & Beauty neighborhood
183 Edgemere St., Montauk
Based in Tribeca, the Bari Studio is known for workouts that people actually want to go to (thanks to sessions that incorporate everything from dance moves to trampolines). And this summer, the postcard-perfect outdoor deck of Montauk’s Surf Lodge is hosting Bari’s popular sculpt class, a low-impact workout using hanging resistance bands and “Bari balls” (inflatable rubber spheres) that together target all the major muscle groups. Afterward, grab a lobster roll (you’ve earned it) at the Surf Lodge’s restaurant, which overlooks Fort Pond and, in the distance, the Atlantic.

This pretty sleek blow-dry bar offers the requisite range of affordable quick hits and long-lasting blow-outs. They're open seven days a week, but they also do house calls.

While there are outposts around the country, BlueMercury's new shop in East Hampton also offers Chantecaille and La Mer facials. You can also find some of our favorite clean brands here like Tata Harper and RMS Beauty.
14 Amagansett Sq., Amagansett
This clean, minimalist beauty shop in Amagansett square (you'll know it by the pink neon pharmacy cross—a nod to French pharmacies) stocks its light pine shelves with all the best luxury clean beauty lines—RMS Beauty, Tata Harper, Shiva Rose, and more. An added bonus is that the owners, model Leilani Bishop and Bethany Mayer (of Surf Bazaar), are year-round residents—so there's a permanence to the shop that you won't find in summer-only pop-ups.
83 S. Elmwood Ave., Montauk
Two savvy New Yorkers–one an ex Broadway dancer, the other a former Wall Street executive–opened this light-filled studio. We like their ethos: to encourage connection and fun during each practice. A welcome addition to Montauk's wellness community
Dr. Emmanuel Faccio
16 Pantigo Rd., East Hampton
Although Dr. Faccio trained as a traditional M.D., during the past decade he’s become a full-blown healer, focusing specifically on the issues that revolve around traumas, anxiety, phobias, and grief. He also sees patients in NYC.
Dr. Gail Schoenfeld
200 Pantigo Pl E., East Hampton
Little ones running around the Hamptons can definitely be injury-prone, so it's reassuring to have a reliable pediatrician in your back pocket. Dr. Gail Schoenfeld is great at calming nervous kids, and her office has a pediatrician or nurse practitioner on call at all times for emergencies.
East End Acupuncture
43 A Pantigo Rd., Suite 2, East Hampton
Co-proprietor Julie Sigler-Baum is an excellent acupuncturist, though if she’s not available the other practitioners (including her mother, Carol) are great, too. All in all, this airy little spot is the real deal.
