Natural Pilates may seem mild, fairly easy, and somewhat gentle. Do not be fooled. In the hour-long class of small, subtle movements and dynamic stretching on the Reformer, you may hardly break a sweat, but your muscles will be aching for days afterward. The space is small, with eight Reformers in a sparkly clean, functional studio. Individual sessions are also available, and classes are at convenient times—like the popular 7 a.m., which means you can exercise and still make it to work on time.
