When his Internet startup fizzled in 2001, Thatcher Wine started selling books online as a hobby while trying to figure out “the next big thing.” For a few years, people thought he was crazy to be doing anything related to old fashioned printed books. Fast forward 13 years and Juniper Books is a successful, rapidly growing company in Boulder, Colorado.
Juniper Books has been featured in publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Departures. Their products have been showcased in the gift guides of Vogue, Afar and many other media outlets. Projects have included the 2012 Architectural Digest Greenroom at the Academy Awards, the Library of the NoMad Hotel in New York City, and Yoo Panama by Philippe Starck.
