    As a native of Tokyo, Japan, I not only have grown up eating rice, but also have developed a palate to appreciate the best quality Japanese and international cuisines. Now I simply want to share the same joy I have with many other people outside of Japan. So, it has become my mission to introduce “Kamado-san” to people in the US so that they can enjoy the best quality rice like I do every day.

    In 2008, I established a company called toiro kitchen, an online donabe shop and a US representative of Nagatani-en (iga-mono brand), a producer of authentic Iga-yaki donabe and pottery, founded in 1832 in Iga, Japan.
