Leo Galland, MD, is internationally recognized as a leader in integrated medicine. Dr. Galland is an award-winning clinician who is regularly chosen for America’s Top Doctors.
He is the author of three highly acclaimed popular books: The Fat Resistance Diet, Power Healing and Superimmunity for Kids. A board-certified internist, he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Nutrition.
Dr. Galland is the founder of pilladvised.com and author of the weekly Pill Advised Newsletter that highlights research on medications, supplements and food for optimizing health. In addition, Dr. Galland is Director of The Foundation for Integrated Medicine, a non-profit educational organization committed to integrating nutritional therapies into clinical practice.
Dr. Galland received his education at Harvard University and the New York University School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine at the N.Y.U.-Bellevue Medical Center. He has held faculty positions at New York University, Rockefeller University, the State University of New York and the University of Connecticut. Dr. Galland is the author of dozens of scientific articles and textbook chapters.
