Ambalika Williams is a Senior Campaign Strategist for Reproductive Freedom the ACLU. With a diverse background in healthcare policy, reproductive rights, grassroots organizing, and issue advocacy campaigns, she brings a wealth of experience to her passion for running campaigns grounded in equity and community. She currently is the Senior Campaign Strategist for Reproductive Freedom at the ACLU. As the National Organizing Director at Rise, Ambalika led a highly successful college voter turnout initiative across key battleground states. She also made waves as the Associate Director of Patient Advocacy Programs at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she launched the c3 voter engagement campaign “Shout Your Vote!” and oversaw PPFA’s largest volunteer program.
Recently, Ambalika helped established a coordinated communications hub in Harris County, providing essential public relations support to progressive leaders. Her dedication extends beyond her professional roles; she is a proud alumna of the 2021 New Leaders Council program and actively serves on the board of Bunnies on the Bayou, an organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ groups in Houston. Ambalika’s commitment to social progress has earned her recognition, including TheWrap’s prestigious Voice of the Future award at the 2022 Power Women Summit. When not immersed in her work, Ambalika enjoys unwinding with her cherished dog, Riot, and indulging in binge-watching sessions of Indian cinema.
