BASIC TRAINING “I’m training for my first triathlon—in Honolulu, no less—and RXBARs are the perfect snack. I love the transparency of ingredients, the fact they don’t have any added sugar, and the sheer variety of flavors. I always keep one handy (in my car,
desk drawer, gym bag) in case hunger strikes. I’m partial to their Chocolate Sea Salt because you can actually taste the cacao.”

URBAN REMEDY “Following some serious holiday overindulging it’s time to hit reset. So, in true goop fashion, I’ve researched the best three-day cleanse that doesn’t involve grassy juices that have a closer resemblance to lawnmower trimmings than lunch. Enter Urban Remedy: they deliver plant-based meals packed with inflammation-fighting antioxidants right to your door. The best part is, the meals (and, yes, some juices) are super satisfying and leave you feeling energized instead of hangry at the office all day.”

MOVIE NIGHT “I’m usually so on top of the most recent movies, but I’ve fallen seriously behind. I’m currently trying to catch up on A24 films like Ladybird, The Florida Project, and Disaster Artist. A24 always puts out such inspiring work and I’m never disappointed when I take the time to watch one of their films.”

NEW KICKS “I wear my Tibi sneakers constantly—whether it’s with jeans, t-shirt dresses, or my workout attire. They’re hands-down my favorite goop Shop purchase as of late.”

LITTLE RUBY “The Santa Monica outpost of a New York favorite, Little Ruby sends my love for avo toast into orbit. Add in the ricotta hotcakes plus a grain bowl for a solid Aussie ‘brekkie’ and you’ll forget all about your hangover.”

COPE “I’ve been fawning over the recently launched textile and home goods line, Cope. Founded by Nick and Rachel Cope, the creative duo behind Calico Wallpaper, the debut collection features four ethereal designs printed on all-natural Belgian linen, available by the yard or in decorative pillows. (There’s also coordinating wallpaper if you really want to go for it.)”

FLORAL FRENZY “I’m biased, but Carolina Herrera is a recent arrival to the goop Shop—and this floral dress is pretty much to die for. It’s one of those unicorn pieces that looks good on various body types and the print is sweet, but really easy to wear.”

HAT TRICK “Probably one of the most fun parts of my job is discovering new things—it’s even easier when your friends are the ones churning them out. Tio y Tia is a new hat line inspired by the simplicity of the Southwest founded by three ladies I seriously admire: Lucy Laucht, Nicole Najafi, and Johanna Peet. Nicole chased down a serial number she found inside a vintage hat she bought in Joshua Tree and it led her to the oldest hatmaker in the United States—turns out it’s the same company that made Georgia O’Keeffe’s hats in the early 1900’s. They’ve launched with two styles, The Delores and The Gambler, my pick, which has a wider brim and comes in black. I can’t wait to stash one in my bag for that Utah-slash-Amangiri road trip I’ve been dreaming about.”

PLANET EARTH II “I never tire of watching Planet Earth II. The iguana vs. snakes scene is an instant classic that everyone needs to see at least twice in their lives.”

CARRY ALL “I love the appeal of a throw around, throw-in-whatever-you-need, leave-it-on-the-floor-if-you-have-to kind of bag. Thanks to its structure, this one acts as a tote, but is still totally luxurious.”

SMOKE SHOW “I just received issue 1 of Broccoli Mag in the mail—it’s a beautifully designed, women-led, weed-focused magazine from the former creative director of Kinfolk (for the price of shipping!). I especially loved the cannabis ikebana story by Amy Merrick.”

CUT AND PASTE “I’m totally obsessed with making labor-intensive clothes, home goods (blankets, pillows, rugs), gifts, things for my dog, for my friends’ kids, etc. If I can’t find what I want and how I want it, I make it—it all ties back to my world and the kaleidoscope I see it through. I especially love working with Liberty of London prints, which I used on this decoupage plate (it’s one of twelve). Whenever I’m using my hands to make something, I’m in my happy place.”

I AM, I AM, I AM “Novelist Maggie O’Farrell’s first memoir is a string of snapshots: seventeen moments that she maybe, almost, didn’t live past. Some are quiet—like when a car gets uncomfortably close to you on the road—and others more chilling. The book comes full circle in a final chapter about O’Farrell’s middle daughter, who has life-threatening allergies. While O’Farrell’s own story makes for a gripping, moving read, the book is made brilliant by the way she speaks to the most human experience we all share—living, always, in the face of death but, on our best days, not in fear of it. (Read an original essay by O’Farrell on goop here.)”

SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST “For someone who’s never been, spending a long weekend at The Four Seasons Rancho Encantado was the most fitting welcome to the magic-steeped place that is Santa Fe. And I’m not being dramatic—I felt a jolt of connection the second I stepped foot on the resort’s grounds, which bleed right into the surrounding Rio Grande River Valley (read: a hiker’s dream). The
indoor-outdoor spa—and the neighboring teepee—is a particularly special place to ease into the spiritual element of it all with massages, wraps, and facials that begin with smudging ceremonies and intention setting. To seal the deal, my casita (there are 65 total, so you can easily go days with seeing no more than a handful fellow guests) came with two adobe fireplaces—one inside, one outside—that when lit, cast an otherworldly glow that was incredibly hard to leave.”

QUEEN BEE “During Art Basel we teamed up to host a dinner party with Bumble Bizz in honor of our holiday goop GIFT pop-up. Over the last couple of months, I’ve spent more time poking around Bumble Bizz, which is a networking app that lets you connect with relevant contacts in your city—and actually take action. I’ve been using the app in a few different ways: to recruit new talent, to reach out to possible clients, and just connect with like-minded people in the business.”
