Insane Catering: Kitchen Mouse
As we were putting our Band of Outsider x goop shoot together, photographer Coliena Rentmeester couldn’t stop talking about the vegan, gluten-free catering care of Kitchen Mouse: While we like our clean food as much as the next, her excitement was more akin to how a 5-year-old might obsess about an ice cream sundae bar, rather than quinoa cakes. But one bite of tempeh bacon later, and we totally got it. Kitchen Mouse served seared shishito and mizuna salad (with an awesome lemon dressing), and gomasio rice cakes, topped with oyster mushrooms and cilantro chutney for lunch—and we had to have the recipes. (Highland Parkers rejoice, as Erica just opened a restaurant in the neighborhood.)
This delicious seaweed-salad like side is perfectly tangy.
