Snack time—otherwise known as those moments in space when you’re so ravenous you can put down a whole bag of pretzels—is challenging. Beyond wanting something healthy, it’s tough to find things that are satisfying without being overly filling. Here are four of GP’s favorites for any time of day and any hunger level, whether you just need a refreshing drink as an afternoon pick-me-up or a hearty kale salad to keep you going from an early lunch to a late dinner.
GP is obsessed with the chicken salad from Round Swamp Farm in the Hamptons, so we had to figure out how to recreate it. After a couple attempts, we finally nailed an organic, slightly lightened-up take on it.
