The Goop Paris City Guide Dinner

Launching our Paris guide—both on goop, and in our city guide app—certainly took us long enough (we know, we know, we’re sorry!): But then, we had a lot of crepes to taste, a lot of shopping racks to sift through, and a fair number of hotel beds to try. The drudgery. To give the guides a proper send-off, we partnered with Mastercard Priceless Paris on an intimate dinner at Alain Ducasse’s classic, Aux Lyonnais, and celebrated with some of our favorite Parisians. Below, a few highlights.

  • We worked with Stephanie Laurent on the florals, though the old-world space didn’t need much in the way of décor.

  • Alain Ducasse took over the space in 2002; it’s been the home to a bistro since 1914, and many original design flourishes are still intact.

  • Christian Louboutin.

  • With dear friend Giancarlo Giammetti.

  • Laurence Dacade and goop CRO, Ali Wyatt.

  • David Koma.

  • A pretty great fashion sandwich.

  • Clockwise, from left: Cervelle de canuts, roasted free range chicken, and praline cake.

  • Sabine Brunner, CEO of Bonpoint.

  • Clare Waight Keller, Creative Director of Chloé.

  • Le selfie.

  • GP and goop CEO, Lisa Gersh.

Special Thanks To…

Our partner, MasterCard Priceless Paris, Aux Lyonnais and the whole Alain Ducasse team, photographer Michael Guez of Libre Comme L’Art, Mon Plus Beau Jour for their help with event coordination, and the Peninsula Paris for giving us a home away from home.
